Chandi Sankalpa - Day Nine - That's All Folks! (until next month!)

It was wonderful to end the sankalpa with this short section which

included the Siddha Kunjika Stotram (another favorite of mine) and the

prayers for forgiveness and praise of the Goddess. It allowed me to

savor the meanings a little more. It was a beautiful end to a beautiful

sankalpa.

 

I tried to sing the arati, feverishly ringing my bell the whole

time...and it went...well, it was good for me at least...The Devimayi

and Bhagavatistutih were somewhat less inspired, but the Pranama

(anushtup!) went really well. I used the melody I learned from the

streams again, and I really enjoyed singing it. It was beautiful (at

least it felt beautiful - I won't venture an opinion on how it probably

sounded).

 

So, until next month...I'm sure Nanda will let us all know when the

next one will begin.
