BABY BLESSINGS

NAMASTE: Sunday Maa and Swami blessed the 2 year old daughter of

devotes and their soon-to-be-born baby inside his Mother. After Maa

and Swami's blessing, Maa asked each of us to kneel before the Mother

and give her and the baby a blessing and a present, and then the

Mother blessed each of us. It was so powerful. I marvel at the

mechanics of blessing a baby not yet born.

This reminds me of the story in Maa's biography of Shree Maa's Mother

and Father visiting a saint who told her she was pregnant with Shree

Maa even before she knew it, and then told her she would have a divine

baby who would bless this world. Then he blessed mother and baby, and

gave the baby Shree Maa mantra initiation in the womb. Then told her

to return when the baby was a new born. At that time, he met Maa and

danced around with her, and welcomed her into this world. He blessed

her and her Mother.

It is a great read and gives insight into the development of one of

the greatest saints of this age.
