Friday night Swami taught us how to perform the sacred fireceremony. Swami would like us to practice it several times prior toMonday's class, and bring him questions. Each time you practice, write your questions and either e mail to me,and I will forward to Swami, or, bring them all to class Monday night...

Dear vishweswhar ~ is there anyplace on the DM website that we can see this teaching? Was it part of the Hanuman Puja Class? Also, will the class on Monday be the same time, 6:30 pm Pacific Time?

Thank you ~ Linda

P.S. My copy of the Hanuman Puja just came today, along with "Before Becoming This," which I've wanted to get for a long time. I'm so excited. Even though I didn't have it to participate in the class, I am so grateful that the classes are kept on the website. Now when I watch Swamiji do the teaching, I can follow along in my book. And thanks to the elf who added the gift of the CD. I love it already.

The class from last Friday, the 27th, is all about the fire ceremony.Maybe the first 5 minutes are not, but the majority is.

Dear Vish ~ today when I went to look at the Hanuman Puja classes ... I was going to try, one more time, to see if there were any dates attached, so I'd know which one was Friday. And there it was, in blazing glory ... even I couldn't miss it: Sacred Fire Ceremony - Visarjana Mudra. Boing! Well, I'm very grateful to whomever uploaded this to the website that it was made so clear. I think it just wasn't there yet the last time I looked.

And, oh how wonderful ... hearing/seeing Swamiji and being taught in such a clear way. And I do have a wood stove in my living room that I could use as the havan. I think my lengths of wood would need to be a bit shorter than the ones Swamiji used. I am so grateful that this is being done. I have some of the books that there have been classes on; I am so happy that these are being left up ... it allows someone like me, who has trouble keeping up, to still take the classes at my own pace. All gratitude to Swamiji and Maa and all the saivites at the Devi Mandir ~ Linda See what's free at AOL.com.
