Guest guest
Namaste Pat, Thank you for your interest. May Divine Mother's blessings make our chanting a beautiful offering at Her Feet! Swamiji has answered many related questions in the FAQ section of the shreemaa.org website. There is a section on CHANDI and one on ASANA. > > should I start by chanting the verses as they are listed in the table > of contents or is their a certain order or amount i should chant at 1 > time. There are different ways of chanting e.g., cover to cover, seedha path (all 13 chapters and a some passages prior and after the 13 chapters) or just chanting a chapter or a section a day. Recently, we chanted as a group a chapter a day for 9 days and covered the whole book. That is a great way to start! Swamiji in His book on Chandi chanting and samputs discusses different ways of chanting. When we start out we can begin with a little everyday and then let that grow. Many times we have heard Swamiji say that our sadhana will grow organically! Somebody adviced me to begin chanting with the Kavach and Sidha Kunjika stotram. After chanting them for some time, i felt comfortable to add a little more...and then some more...it feels like these are little steps we take towards Mother and She comes and holds our hand all the time! There are no rules, the basic idea is that we can't control our mind but can try to control our body and keep it still while we are chanting. Answers about asan are at this page. http://www.shreemaa.org/drupal/node/152 > Is their a users guide? You can take a look at FAQ on Chandi and also Swamiji's Chandi classes - These are available at: http://www.shreemaa.org/drupal-.7.3/shree_maa_chandi_path_audio_classes If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to write back.
