I picked up sticks from outside, and made a very small pile in my fire place. As I was praying to Agni, I couldn't get the fire started. Wind kept blowing it out. The fire seemed to dance away from the wood. Finally I said, "Okay, Swamiji and Shree Maa said this was okay."It started right away. This was powerful. It cleared out sooo many issues I have almost instantly. Absolutely unbelievable.It takes some doing chanting and keeping the fire going. I will try again tomorrow. Today I simply chanted the Shiva Puja at the fire.I want to thank Swamiji for teaching us this and encouraging us to practice this.Peace,Shankari Kali Ahhh...imagining that irresistible "new car" smell? I have only done a few myself, but I have always had it in the back of my mind that I wanted the homa to be a regular part of my life. It does get easier...but you know that. Jai Maa!
