NAMASTE CHRIS: THIS IS SWAMI'S RESPONSE

 

Actually those are the minimum five offerings for puja.

 

You can use any fruit for purnahuti, and it is not necessary that the

fire burns until the entire fruit is consumed. Often times we bake the

fruit a little bit, and then cut it up and share with devotees as prasad.
