Dear All,

The next lunar month is Jyeshta and begins on 17th May - based on the panchang over the Bay area, so our second group Chandi sankalpa this year starts on this day. (17th May).

The portions to be chanted over the next NINE days is given in the following post.

/message/22959

It is once again reproduced here for your convenience

Day 1: Devata Pranam through Kilakam

Day 2: Devata Pranam through Shanti Path, and Vedoktam Ratri Shuktam through Chapter 1

Day 3: Devata Pranam through Shanti Path, and Chapters 2, 3 and 4

Day 4: Devata Pranam through Shanti Path, and Chapters 5 and 6

Day 5: Devata Pranam through Shanti Path, and Chapters 7 and 8

Day 6: Devata Pranam through Shanti Path, and Chapters 9 and 10

Day 7: Devata Pranam through Shanti Path, and Chapters 11, 12 and 13

Day 8: Devata Pranam through Shanti Path, and Shapoddhara, utkilana, and mritasamjivani mantras, Navarna Viddhi through Murti Rahasya

Day 9: Devata Pranam through Shanti Path, and Kshama Prathana through end

Please note that Shanti Path means the ending of the first section of the book (just prior to Atha Saptasloki Durga aka Seven verses in praise of She who removes Difficulty). The Shanti path specifically refers to portion where we start "om Shanta Dyau Shanta Prithvim ... etc " and ends with "Om Shanti Shanti Shanti" .

Jai Chandi !!

That is great. Thanks Maa Nanda.

A number of queries are raised over the Panchang for a particular place.

There is site which gives the Panchang for a number of cities.
