Guest guest
Peace to you all, a question: recently there was a post (from Vishweshwar) re: starting the fire ceremony, with the statement 'time is short'. What does this mean? I feel like I am in kindergarten compared to most of you, who have been with Swami and Shree Maa for so long. Yet I know that I am right where I need to be in my relationship with Divine Mother, living each day with the intent of 'make me an instrument of thy peace'. My spiritual practice goal for the next season is to dive deeply into the Chandi, and the Chandi only. Yet when I read 'time is short', I think hmmm....maybe I should re- evaluate my goals. Time is short? What does that mean? Is there some way that I can serve Divine Mother better, given that time is short? Thank you so much, Jennifer
Guest guest
Time is short has to do with kalpa. Sadaks are known to form sankalpa/s. It is not really that time itself is short, but rather our time as individuals is. We are here today, but few of us are here forever. It is best that we get our practices done. In this way our time on this earth might get extended. None of us know with any certainty just how long we will be here. It is best not to waste time. Let us use it to good ends. Is it that time is short, or is it we that are of short duration? In any case a sadhu must utilize time effectively. , " jrholm1007 " <jrholm1007 wrote: > > Peace to you all, a question: recently there was a post (from > Vishweshwar) re: starting the fire ceremony, with the statement 'time > is short'. Guest guest
Namaste Jennifer, Perhaps Vish too will respond to your post and chat about starting the fire ceremony. My 2 cents... even if you can " ONLY " do the Chandi - you are doing GREAT! BTW, there is a Chandi group sankalpa that started today - hope you will able to join in and chant each day a certain portion of the text for the next 9 days . Please do post your questions and learning on the Chandi.
