Question from a devotee:I have bought Durga beginners puja book. What else should I buy or do to follow the path of the divine mother (should I acquire Chandi path book and etc. If I want to meditate - can I use mantra without initiation and which mantra?

Nanda ventures a tentative response:Practice the Durga Puja . You can also get the Chandi Path book and chant along with the Mandir folks via the webcam on Sundays. You can do a japa of any mantra as long as you are doing to for getting Her grace and pure devotion. For any other reasons, please get initiation from a qualified Guru before chanting the mantra.
