Guest guest
Namaste Jennifer: So great you have begun the Chandi. Maa is playing with us all, that is Her nature. It is up to us to take the sankalpa, the firm committment, and begin the practice, and keep going, no matter what. As the Master said: " take one step towards God, and She will take 10 steps towards you. " When you chant the Chandi, you are seeking to know Her, and surrender your selfish attachments to Her, so, in my opinion, making the offerings, and chanting as much of the text as you can, will enhance that experience. Swami always says: try to extend your practice in every way: more mantras, better pronunciation, sitting longer, more offerings, etc. Set a goal to sit 5 minutes longer per month, or, learn several mantras a month by heart, etc. In this way, you will see your practice grow, and your relationship with Her deepen. And then you will begin to see Her in more aspects of your daily life. After all, that is the goal: to see and experience Her everywhere, in everything.
