Guest guest
Namaste: Verse #4 from " Advanced Shiva Puja " , " take the cure for the illness of uncontrolled desire, serve your doctor as a beggar would serve a Lord, don't seek the associations of pleasure seekers or self centered individuals. Remain contented with whatever you receive in a divine union, that which God has consented to give. Remain the same while undergoing all the pairs of opposites like hot and cold, pleasure and pain, and don't give expression to worthless speech. Carry yourself as a great renunciate. Don't look to get grace from other men, and don't seek to obtain anything from men. " To remain unfazed by pleasure and pain, and to remain content with what ever God gives you: these are the goals of life. As Swami and Maa state in " Before Becoming This " , the practice of Shiva puja helps one to become a witness to life, to be strong and secure and without fear. Guest guest
Thank you for posting, this is one of my favorites to read each morning in puja. There's so much light in it & quickly brings me into oneness each day. It's like the rutter on my ship of existance always stearing me on a course to union with God/Goddess.inspectionconnection108 <inspectionconnection108 wrote: Namaste: Verse #4 from "Advanced Shiva Puja", "take the cure for theillness of uncontrolled desire, serve your doctor as a beggar wouldserve a Lord, don't seek the associations of pleasure seekers or selfcentered individuals.
