Guest guest
Namaste: Several years ago, every Saturday night, Maa and Swami would read aloud " The Gospel of Ramakrishna " . Then, they translated it into English. They comtemplated every word in order to give us the purest translation with the Highest Vibration, the Vibration of Ramakrisha himself. The translation is called: " Ramakrishna, The Nectar of Eternal Bliss " . On pages 78-79, Ramakrishna describes the 7 levels of consciousness and how one acts in each level. " The Vedas have elucidated 7 levels of consciousness. The awareness resides in these 7 levels of consciousness. When awareness remains in the world of objects and relationships, it is residing in the lower 3 chakras--the anus, the genitals, and the navel. Then the contemplations don't move towards the upper chakras. All the mental faculties are devoted to desires and attachments. The 4th residence of awareness is in the chakra of the heart. There you get your first glimpse of True Consciousness where on all sides you find the Vision of Light. The individual at that time is mesmerized or astounded by the wonder of this Eternal Light, and he says, " What is this/ " Then his mind no longer has any tendencey to move towards the lower levels of worldly attachments. The fifth residence of awareness is in the throat. When the contemplations rise to the throat, the Wishudda chakra, all the ignorance and all the foolishness are renounces in favor of listening to the Eternal Truth of God and Words of Wisdom. If anyone indulges in worldly gossip, such an individual leaves that place at once. The 6th residence is the Ajna chakra in the forehead. If awareness goes there, you have the Eternal Vision of Supreme Divinity. Still a little bit of " I " remains. Indivuiduals who have the vision of That Which is Beyond From, quickly become united with the Divine. They want to touch that form of the formless, but they are unable to. It's just like when there is light in a lantern, and you think that you can touch it, but there's a glass surrounding it making it impossible to touch the flame. The 7th region is in the Sahasrara at the top of the head. If your contemplation goes there, then you go into samadhi. All the knowers of the Supreme Divinity have the actual vision of divine communion with God. " ......... Contemplate these powerful words and close your eyes and experience the transformation of consciousness.
