Guest guest
Namaste: For me, meditation is like running virus protection on my computer. My link to the universal mind becomes infected by a virus, and I can only experience the limited illusion, " my mind " . Like being part of a computer network, but, the link is corrupted, is lost, and I am only aware of the limited computing power of my own computer. I " Know " that the larger universal computer, MY ETERNAL SELF, is " out there " , but I have lost access to it. So, I meditate, and the connection is re-established, the link to the UNIVERSAL SELF, MY SELF, is re-established, and I am whole again. Life is so different in that state, I have access to the total computing power of the great Cosmic Mind, the Home of All the Laws of Nature, MY SELF, and life is smoother, and I can witness the drama, without being overshadowed by it. But of course, the connection becomes broken again, and I am infected by the virus of the Great Ego, and His army of " cookies " , thoughts, and like a lost soul, I wander in my mind, making mistakes, feeling frustrated, and, thinking that I am the Doer, I create more karma for my self. Thank Shiva for virus protection. Ultimately, it runs automatically, 24/7, like the mantra automatically repeating itself endlessly inside me, and, it takes care of the system, automatically purging the Ego, the virus, whenever it pops up. So, I meditate to save my life, to remember MYSELF, and to become a pure vessel to perform God's work in this World.
