Guest guest
Beloved family, Is the Maha Mrtunjaya Mantra included in any of Swamiji's books? I'm not sure I have ever seen his translation of it, and I would love to memorize it. I have searched all the texts I have in my collection and have been unable to locate it. I believe it's source is the Rg Veda. My love and gratitude for your kind assistance. Rick Veda
Guest guest
Namaste Rick! It is indeed in the back of the Kali Puja book, in the section past the sri kali sahasranama stotram. I can't remember the exact pagination, but it is there. prem saa'ham -sundari On 7/23/07, rikzinger <rikveda wrote: Beloved family,Is the Maha Mrtunjaya Mantra included in any of Swamiji's books? Guest guest
It's on the prayer card that shows Swamiji in an outer space setting. And the translation (which follows) is included in all the prayer club files. It's also on the shreemaa.org web site. " We worship the Father of the three worlds, of excellent fame, Grantor of Increase. As a cucumber is released from its bondage to the stem, so may we be freed from death to dwell in immortality.
