Guest guest
There are 7 verses from the Chandi that describe the essence of the Goddess's nature called the Sapta Sloki Durga. She is the Great Measurement of Consciousness. She is Mahamaya. She captivates the perceiving capacity of consciousness with such force as to make them forget. She is the giver of the fruit of all action. When she is pleased she grants the fruit and when she is displeased she frustrates all desire. When you remember her in spiritual harmony you get increase in spiritual growth. When you remember her in desire you get fulfillment of desire. She is the total energy of all there is. These verses express the essence of Durga. Remember that Durgam means confusion or difficulties and Durga takes away the Durgam.
