INCREASING DEVOTION

Namaste: I too appreciated the question from Michael about devotion

and God. I agree with Swami's answer, and wish to add a comment. To

understand the goal of life, to really get one's mind and heart around

what God realization must be like, one needs to spend time in Maa and

Swami's presence. The air around them is full of such power and

silence, one's heart opens, and one's thought activity diminishes.

Their lives are living proof that pure souls can have a tremendous

impact on the environment. The air of the Mandir itself, is soft,

sweet, and so full of energy. Everyone who visits remarks that it is

the most peaceful and powerful place they have even been.

Being at the Mandir, and with Maa and Swami, one is refreshed,

energized, and settled all at the same time. One realizes that these

feelings are Truth, that this is the reason we were born on this Earth.

My life has been changed by these people, and this place. They have

enlivened that space in me, where Shiva and Shaki reside, and because

of them, I know why I am alive.

We all need concrete examples of the highest idea of perfection.

Thank God we have Maa and Swami
