Guest guest
Greetings; I've been quite quiet, I've been having surgery on my eye and awaiting on the other one. This brings up a good point. We interact with everyone and I try to be as pleasant as I can, what my problem is, is that I don't interact with myself as much, it is hard to take care of one self when one has denies oneself almost to the point of self abuse for most of one's life. What do we want our passage thru the worldto look like? How do we wants folks to feel after spending time withus? Do we care more about others than ourselves?Swami and Maa say living a spiritual life means giving more than we take.Jai Maa Jai SwamivishweshwarPlease visit us online at http://www.ShreeMaa.org
Guest guest
Namaste Vish and Family, I once asked Swamiji how can we best be of service, how we can be of optimal service to the world. Swamiji said, and I paraphrase, that it is how we are in the world, the bhava we carry. Do we meet people with love and peace, are we walking and living from a state of peace and love ourselves. I think the gist of the conversation was that the best thing we can do for the world is to clean up our own stuff, our karma, and let our light, indeed The Mother's light, shine through. That is the way to be of optimal service. Om, Sadhu Maa , " inspectionconnection108 " <inspectionconnection108 wrote: > > Namaste: How many people do we each interact with every day? Guest guest
Namaste: Adding onto these wonderful thoughts, I performed puja for a family visiting the Mandir once. When I was done, they all wanted to touch my feet. I was embarrassed and uncomfortable: I thought that I was not worthy of that honor and a small part of my ego also felt proud that they wanted to touch my feet. Ah, the ego is very sly. So, I told Swami how I felt, and his advice was: " let them touch your feet. You remember that they are not touching your feet, they are touching Maa's feet " Sage advice. I think of that often.
