Guest guest
Question from Sundari:Could you please let me know why women do not offer masala during their period time . Thank you.Swamiji's response:Woman is prakriti. At the sensitive time during her period ,she is bringing forth a new creation. As her thoughts/energy at this time are very important, it is better that she keeps to herself and do japa/meditation and not act too much in the world. The more at peace she is during this time the more peaceful energy she creates. She should avoid heat at this time as that will agitate the energy. This is why we recommend that ladies in their period join the chanting but not offer at the fire. Guest guest
Peace to all, We are all grateful for Swamiji taking the time to address this vital topic. Truly, is this written in Scripture somewhere? I hate to open up a can of worms, but I recall learning in school that the (potential) creation part came when a woman ovulates. I emphatically agree with the keeping to herself and not acting much in the world, purely by virtue of personal experience during these times, where it would probably be a much better idea to sit by my own fire (real or imagined) and pray for comfort and forgiveness... ....is this allowed? I love you all! sal. , " Nanda " <chandimaakijai wrote: > > Question from Sundari: > Could you please let me know why women do not offer masala during their > period time .
