Guest guest
Namaste: After the group Chandi today at the Mandir, I had the good fortune of performing puja at Napashwar, the Shiva lingum. Three Indian families were visiting the Mandir. They wished to join a puja at the lingum. While I love to perform puja for others, and consider it the highest privilege, I thought of the statement another devotee made at lunch an hour earlier. She recounted her memory of her first meeting with Maa and Swami. She recounted how completely surprised and happy she was when she heard Maa say that She wanted each person to be a Priest in a Temple in their own home. How happy that made her. To have a direct personal relationship with God, to worship how she chose, guided by her own heart and Shree Maa. What an incredible blessing. I too remembered that feeling, that precious memory, of being told I could learn these sacred mantras, and build an altar, and invite God to live there. And then Maa and Swami taught us, and we built that altar, and God came. Dear family, those folks who joined me in worship of Shiva today felt I did something special, something beyond their capacity. That Maa entrusted me with something precious and holy. Well she did, and miracle of miracles, She will for anyone else who desires it. My prayer, as I performed the puja today, was that Shiva would spark that desire in each person's heart, that they would seek to learn and perform that puja for themselves, their families, and this universe. Please remember your first awakening, and feel the gratitude and joy again, and take that feeling into your next puja, and into your next meeting at work, or with your children, or your staff, or your boss, and smile and give everyone Shiva's darshan. Please take Maa and Swami's blessings and sing Shiva's name wherever, and whenever possible. Love Jai Ma Jai Swami vishweshwar
