I had no idea, and if you hadn't meantioned it I would not have known. I did the puja to Ganesha from the Devi Mandir and did Homa for the mantra offerings to Ganeshan with Havan Samagri and Ghee. It was a beautiful puja and has brought a lot of blessing already, in addition to the Chandi Sankalpa practice. I would love to know how you found out so that I can discern when the next chandi is, and when the Kali puja day for each month is, as you inquired about earlier, otherwise it sometimes comes by Grace. I frequently check my astrological reports, and the astrologer e-mailed me something saying it was Ganesha's birthday. I found out about Kali being worshipped on the new moon Amavasya in a similar way. I happened to be on a website that had a Kali Homa on that day, and found out quite accidently that it was her day, and that it comes monthly. I think there's a more scientific way to discover these things. On the Panchang it lists all the days of the month. Chaturthi is sacred to Ganesh. Ekadashi is sacred to Vishnu, and Amavasya is sacred to Kali. I'm glad to hear that Ganesh is already showering you with blessings. He is blessing me as well.
