Guest guest
Namaste: During class, Swami discussed the meanings of Dharma. One meaning is the Highest Ideal of Perfection. Each being, from a blade of grass to a human has a highest ideal of perfection. The grass wants to be the best grass, while the human may be a thief, and they want to be the best thief they can be. That is their highest ideal of perfection. I may want to be the perfect reflection of Maa. That is my unique highest ideal. Swami taught that each person has THEIR OWN HIGHEST IDEAL, based on their samskaras and each of us has to live according to our own vision. Bottomline: we cannot judge each other or try to change another. Accept each person as the way they are. As a parent of an 18 year old young man, this lesson was perfect at this time. Swami reminded me that my son has his own path, and all I can do is show him how I live, and offer to help him understand the options for action, and the results of each option, and then it is up to him. His choice. And, he will reap what he will sow. I have to trust in Maa, and remember that everything is perfect and just as it should be, and accept whatever unfolds. What a lesson. After all, whose son is he really? Jai Ma Jai Swami vishweshwar
Guest guest
Greetings, Namaste, Today, i had the opportunity to speak with a business owner who has an ideal of perfection for his business that is not synergistic with the ideal of perfection with the company that i am employed with now (luckily, the name of the company for which i work, when translated means 'light of the Gods'). The discussion on the highest ideal of perfection and that this businessman/gentleman is striving for his ideal of perfection really helped me today. i felt love in this businessman, unlike before, in that he believes that he is acting in high honesty and integrity within the realms of his ideas of perfection. Let us look to Maa as our Polestar of Perfection.
