In his biography, the author discusses how Ramakrishna would see prostitutes and go into samamdhi because He truly saw them as a manifestation of the Divine Mother. This amazes me because I look at people and only see their differences. Sometimes I can see a faint glow of the divine, but not Mother Divine or Lord Shiva. This is a concept for me, not a daily reality. Thus I am in awe of Him. Maa too describes in Her life story how She observed the Divine in all folks.
