Guest guest
Namaste Usha Maa: I remember the first time I read the Gospel of Ramakrishna. I was so startled and amazed by the wonderous experiences described in the text. They took my breath away and filled me with bliss. His love of Kali, His desire to experience Her, to have Her darshan, was so great, so intense. It was beyond anything I had ever read, before or since. After He had Her Darshan, and was fully established in Being, He often stated to devotees that they cry for departed relatives or for more wealth or to have desires fulfilled. But, no one cries to have God's darshan. If we cried for God like we cry for more material wealth, He surely would come running to us. If we take one step towards God, He will take 10 steps towards us. That is what we should pray to have: that pure desire for God. May Maa fill our hearts with that love for God.
