Guest guest
Namaste: Monday night we began the class on the life and teachings of Ramakrishna. One could feel the great love and respect Maa and Swami hold for Him. After all, Maa says in Her biography that Ramakrishna has been with Her from Her earliest life. She remembers Him giving Her instructions and guidance from Her first days on Earth. Swami told us He had meditated in His room in the Temple in India for many months, and Ramakrisha had a profound influence on Him. Indeed, Maa and Swami have traveled the world spreading His prime teaching: all religions lead to God. All are equal and should be respected. While the vocabulary of each maybe different, they each share a common basic principle: with folded hands, and with humility and devotion, bow to God. Surrender to Him. Be humble, and thru humbleness, one is raised to meet God. What a tremendous teaching in this time of division and strife between religions. Each feels their way is the best. Yet, the Master taught harmony and peace between all. As we dive deeply into the heart of Ramakrishna, let us learn this lesson of unity, and begin to practice it in our daily life. He will be with us, spreading this divine message of Unity thru us. I pray He will enter all of our hearts and fill us with this Unity.
