Honor Ancestors Wednesday, Begin Navaratri Thursday

Namaste: Please join us the the sacred fire in the Devi mandir Temple

tomorrow morning, Wednesday, beginning between 9:30-10 am. Pacific

time. Maa and Swami will conduct a very powerful ceremony to honor our

ancestors with offerings and mantras. In addition, Swami will read

the names of all departed ancestors. Honoring them in this way, we

thank them for sacrificing and giving their best to us. Because of

their sacrifice, they have helped us attain the exhaulted position we

have attained today.

fore fathers, thanking them, blessing them, and honoring them.

On Thursday, 11th, the 9 day celebration of Navaratri begins at 4 AM

Pacific time with songs and aarti. Then Maa and Swami will perform

Chandi homa and Cosmic Puja early that morning. Throughout the day

devotees will also be at the sacred fire chanting mantras and

performing worship.

6:30 PM every evening there will be aarti and some worship at the

sacred fire. This schedule will continue for the 9 days.

Maa and Swami really desire that we lengthen our worship during the 9

days, as much as possible. Joining in their energy, we will be

propelled right into Mother's lap.

This 9 days, dedicated to the worship of Mother Divine, is very

powerful and allows us the chance to dive deep into the presence of

Mother. Invoking Her, we release our worldly obligations, to the

extent we are able, and focus SOLELY ON HER.

Take this special time to worship Maa, , and the benefits will be out

of this world.
