After we chant Durga's name 1000 times, She asks us to join Her in singing. Singing is a favorite sadhana of Maa. She not only uses it to praise Mother in song, but, as a technique to open our hearts to experience the fullest expression of the Deity we are singing about, and, to unit us all into One Soul. Each time we sing with Her, the songs are slight different. She requires that we listen intently and be in harmony with Her as She changes the song's speed and volume. One must be totally present and pay attention, or, one will miss the changes. As She sings, She transmits shakti and bliss, and many times, we may begin singing tired, and end a session fully restored and dancing. I wish you all could join us in person, and feel the pulsing beat of the universe as She opens the doors of our hearts and souls to God. I hope Her bhava and shakti come thru the computer and send your souls soaring and your feet a'dancin.
