Can anyone offer any insight as to what determines the " new year " )i.e. Chinese/Hindu/Jewish/Christian, etc.) for so many different cultures/religions? Is it astrological? Historical? Based on events? A combination of all the above? Why are none of them the same date if we are of one God? ....not that I mind all this extra celebrating.... much love, sal.
