Guest guest
Namaste: Everyone of us experiences the same issue to some degree or another. As Swami say:, " We all will fall, it is the process of getting up and beginning again that is important. " I agree with Shankari Kali that making a commitment to perform a manageable amount of sadhana daily is a key to success. The very process of taking the sankalpa, making that firm commitment, is very important and helpful. It gives one the strength to perform the sadhana regardless of one's feelings and moods. One just does it, no matter what. What sadhana do you like to do? What Deity inspires your love and devotion, and therefore, you can make that commitment for daily praise and worship? For me, worship is the expression of my love and devotion to Shiva. It is not just automatically repeating a mantra or puja. Sure there are times when I feel uninspired, but, each time I overcome that feeling, and just do the worship, complete my vow, I feel stronger and more connected to Shiva. As Swami says, " performing the worship when you do not feel like it, that is when you achieve the most benefit. It is easy to do it when you feel good.
