namaste Ranveer: a yantra is a physical representation of a

metaphysical state of consciousness. Swami call a yantra a road map

to follow to reach the Divine. I cannot explain how to use it here,

it is too complex. Go to the web site, www.shreemaa.org, and locate

the section where video classes are stored. Look for the class on the

" Cosmic Puja " . In that class, Swami teaches how to create a yantra as

part of a puja.

Also, it included in the text " Cosmic Puja " , available for sale on the

same Mandir website.

How to chant the Chandi mantra? We chant the mantra with OM each time

we repeat it. That is our tradition. Others may teach differently.

There is no wrong or right way.

I suggest if you want to worship Kali or Durga, purchase the books of

Kali Puja and Durga Puja from www.shreemaa.org. Also purchase the

CD's of Maa chanting the Durga puja and the 1000 names of Kali.

After you try each puja, see how you feel. See which Goddess attracts

you more, then continue to worship Her. These books contain the

tradition forms of worhsip of each Goddess.

Once you have the books, you can post questions about worhsip here.

the mantra then chant the mantra 107 times without saying om in the

beginning. is this correct? can someone find out please?

them, from your heart, how they would like to be worshiped. " i got abit

worried just incase they tell me to worship them in way that would be

impossible for me to do. then i would have no where to go. please

guide me on this.

> Namaste Ranveer: thanks for posting. Check out the Spiritual

calendaron the Devi Mandir website for auspicious days to chant or

pray toKali or Durga. Beside special days, anyone can chant Their

Divine Names anytime. Iperform Shiva and Durga Puja daily for the past

6 years, and Kali pujawhen the calender suggests it is most

auspicious. There are no restrictions. Maa and Swami teach that this

is ourpersonal relationship with Durga, Kali, Shiva, etc. How and when

weworship is up to us. If we want to cultivate a relationship

withthem, we chant their name all the time. Maa and Swami have

translatedtexts, available on Devi Mandir website, which we can use

tocommunicate with the Deities. Durga puja, Kali puja, Shiva puja

texts,CD's with Maa chanting 1000 names of Kali, Maa chanting Durga

pujaetc., are all available. Just make your choice.Let's take a minute

and think about our daily life. If we met someonenew, and we felt a

connection to them, we would phone them often, orvisit them, or write

letters, or e mails. We would want to get nearerto them in order to

build a relationship. We want to know all aboutthem. What pleases

them, etc. In the same way, building a relationship with God, in

whatever form,we use the tools that devotees have used for thousands

of years. Andwe yearn for Their Darshan, we yearn to feel Their

presence in our lives. And that yearning, that desire, is what propels

us to worship, to giveour time and energy to learning about, and

worshiping to, Kali orDurga, etc.So, if you feel attracted to Kali or

durga, I suggest you close youreyes, and ask them, from your heart,

how they would like to beworshiped. Listen, and They will speak to

you. Also,if you feel attracted to Chandi, listen in every Sunday at

9:30am Pacific time, as Maa and Swami chant the Chandi Path at the

homa. You will learn the way we pronounce the Chandi mantra, others

maychant it differently, but you will hear us chant. Also, it

isavailable on CD from the Devi Mandir web site.I hope this answers

your questions.Jai Maa Jai Swamivishweshwar> Namastey> > My name is
