Guest guest
Namaste I am a new member of this group. My spiritual quest brought me to devi mahatmya(chandi) and i have been chanting mahisasura mardini and devi kadga mala stotras Recently I was " googling " and came across lalitha trishati and was blown away by the power of the stotra and the benefits of chanting it. I wanted to add that to my daily routine and wanted to get printout ansd start chanting. But i was told by another person chanting these stotras that they should not be chanted by all as they are powerful devi stotras and need initation by guru . usually i commute to work by train and use that time to do my chanting which give me peace before i reach office. But this news made me sad and wonder if i am doing right thing or should i keep chanting as Mother will take of everything? Also i want tochant trishati and would be happy if somebody can advise if its okay to chant without initiation or If i should do in a more formal and ritualistic way. Thanks for your responses. Guest Guest
Dear Sadhaka, Please be noted that you can chant lalita trishati with out any initiation from any Guru. You can assume LORD LALITHA Matha as your Guru and can chant this Mantra silently. But it has to be chanted in a pure and clean environment. Hence i would advise you to chant it in Temple or at Pooja room at your home. Pls dont forget to do nivedhana of any fruits or Payasam or Sweet Pongal to Ambal after chanting Trishati. For true Bhakti, only Bhavana is important. Leave the result to God and focus only on sincere, honest and dedicated chanting of Trishati or any mantra.
