The classes give us practical teachings from the the life of Ramakrishna and how He taught His disciples to live a life of devotion to God and how to develop pure love. Everyone gets something from these classes. Ramakrishna is the Nectar of Eternal Bliss. Sri Ramakrishna gives us bhakti. Last night, Swamiji said that Ramakrishna is the Wish-fulfilling tree for those devotees who love and worship Him. In Ramakrishna's last days, like a kalpataru, or Wish-fulfilling tree, He fulfilled the spiritual yearnings of his disciples, granting them spiritual visions and transcendental states. It is very true that very special gifts are given out through these classes. The opportunity we are given to interact with our gurus directly, even though we can't be there in person, is very special indeed. I did not realize this in full before, but a few classes back I asked some questions and ever since watching Shree Maa and Swamiji answering me, something has shifted in my life. Apart from the meaning of the words they spoke, there was something else which I cannot explain which made the message go straight into my heart. It has stayed with me ever since and I only have to 'rewind' the tape in my mind's eye to get fresh inspiration.
