Namaste Amrish: Here is Swami's reply to your question about what to

do when you feel less attracted to worldly activities.:

Namaste Amrish,

What you are experiencing is quite natural. You don't leave the world;

the world leaves you. You just feel less and less and satisfied with

worldliness.

The only thing you can do for this feeling is sadhana.

Thanks to Amrishji for the question and Swamiji for the guidance.

I have also experienced this feeling. I often look around and feel a

bit like someone from another planet. Since a child my interests were

very different than the mainstream. I found a most difficult place to

be when the world is not satisfying or attractive but sadhana has not

yet fully replaced the empty space. That is a difficult position to be

in. Swamiji's wise guidance - that sadhana is the only thing we can do

for this feeling - is truly a God-send.
