Guest guest
Namaste: Thanks for coming to join us and asking for help. Shree Maa has made an excellent CD chanting the mantras of the 9 planets. In addition, in the text " THE COSMIC PUJA " , the mantras are written they, in Sanskrit and English. They can be purchased from Devi Mandir book store at the web site. Maa usually recommends beginning sadhana easily and simply. She usually suggests one begin learning and practicing " THE BEGINNER SHIVA PUJA " . That text and a CD by Swami chanting the entire text is also available at the web site. They are great learning tools. I began my sadhana with Shiva puja, and over time added Durga puja, mantras for the 9 planets, homa, and japa, etc. Once one understands the basic set up of Shiva puja, one can learn other pujas. Each puja is done in the same fashion, the same order, only the mantras are unique for each deity. We have helped many devotees begin their practice and will gladly help you. In the FILE section, on the left side on this page, click on the word FILE, and look for the words SHIVA PUJA, then click on them. This will open a class on learning the puja, You will need the book in order to follow the steps. The CD will help so that you can hear the pronunciation. This is a great time to begin your practice. Jai Ma Jai Swami vishweshwar Happy New Year. , " student_ltu " <student_ltu wrote: > > Thank you so much for responding, > > No, I do not know how to do pujas at all. > This is all new to me: however, I have done mantras from the internet. > However, these mantras from the internet a incomplete: they do not > give the number of times to gain siddhi of the mantra etc. > I have visited www.ShreeMaa.org and felt overwhelmed by all the > information. > > Due to me being new to this I need to know all the basics: ritual > setup, mantras (number of repetitions), and how to pronounce them. > > I have said mantras before and know that if they aren't performed > correctly they will not work. > > I do know that one needs a Guru or someone well trained to guide them > or success will not come. > > blessings, > Lillian (student_ltu) > > > , devi <student61754@> wrote: > > > > Namaste, > > > > Welcome to the group. > > Happy you found the group. > > > > In order to better help you with your question could you share with > us a couple of things: > > Have you checked out the Shree Maa site? > > So much information there that will help you. > > Do you already do puja? > > Or is this all new for you? > > > > Once again Welcome, > > Look forward to getting to know you better. > > > > > > > > > > student_ltu <student_ltu@> wrote: > Namaste group, > > > > I just joined the group from a link on the main page.
