Guest guest
Namaste: many times new members of our world wide family ask how to begin worship. From my own experience, I remember my first attempts to worship Shiva. I desired to worship properly and avoid making mistakes which may have caused " bad " karma to result. I was raised a Christian and could not fathom the notion that I could worship by myself in my home, and achieve the results that Great Masters had achieved over thousands of years, practicing the same techniques. I thought they were special, and I was beginning something beyond by capacity. How wrong I was. Even as I fumbled with the English translations of the Sanskrit, and awkwardly made offerings to Shiva at my altar, I began to feel changes in my life. Maa and Swami promised the results would come, and they did. Today, Swami reminded me of this great truth with his response to Lillian's question about holding a mala: don't wait to learn the " proper " way, get started right away. Thanks to Maa and Swami for your continued support and guidance. Thanks to all our family who continue to forge forward, diving deeper and deeper into the Divine Ocean of Consciousness, and sharing the gems you discover.
