Devi and all: recordings of Chandi AND everything else about this sankalpa

Namste everybody,

here are my two cents about getting to a first name basis with Chandi Maa:

i first started by listening and following along (trying at first, but

it comes around) with Maa and swamiji's recording of the Chandi

Path....back then it was in cassette form. It is slow enough that a

beginner can catch on after some time.

Some time later that became a little too slow. Maa recorded a new

Chandi (with all the elements of the sankalpa for this year) on 3 CD's

-- just Maa and her beautiful tambura. i would listen and attempt to

keep up as much as i could. in time that became the perfect speed for

me...Maa cahnts, but adds a melodious edge to this recording that is

reallu FAB!

i still play it while driving, especially the Siddha Kunjika Stotram

which i belt out with Maa and i go down the highway!

IMHO, this is the way to go...Maa and Swamiji have made recordings

that aid us in the beginning and later on anyone can tune in to the

webcam and chant along wherever they are.

Peace to you! Thank you so much for sharing about this. I am

learning by chanting along to the CD that has both Shree Maa and

Swamiji on it. Is the one that you are referring to still available

for purchase from the website? And, is it the same as the recording

that is the continuous audio stream, or different? Thank you,

Jennifer

PS, I am feeling so excited and grateful for these two beautiful

sankalpas this year. Thank you, Swamiji and Shree Maa, for inviting

us into such beautiful ways to grow in love and demonstrate our

desire for Mother's peace to fill this delightful creation. Thank

you for filling every step on the path with joy and brilliance.

Thank you for creating a place for this family to join in worship.
