Guest guest
Dear All, Here is a message from Shree Maa about last year's sankalpa (2007) and this year's sankalpa (2008): " Dear Beloved Children, Thanks for helping to bring peace to yourselves and this universe. We are very proud of you. This year please recite the following mantra: " saranaagata diinaarta paritraana paraayane sarvasyaarti hare devi naaraayani namo-stu te " " For those who are devoted to you and take refuge in you, even though helpless and perplexed, you save them from all discomfort and unhappiness. All worry you take away, Oh Goddess, Exposer of Consciousness, we bow to you. " (Translated by Swami Satyananda Saraswati-Chandi path-Atha Sapta Sloki Durga verse 4, chapter 11-verse 12) Please do at least one maala (108 times) each day for 2008. With your prayer this world will get peace. " Blessings, Shree Maa and Swamiji
Guest guest
I love the sankalpa for 2008 - I love this mantra, and the sankalpa itself is so simple and easy/attainable to do, yet challenging at the same time. Such grace is reflected through this. The 2007 sankalpa was very challenging - I " only " completed about 75,000 repetitions, but the attempt and the journey held many lessons.Count me in! shanti-sundariOn Jan 6, 2008 4:49 PM, parv108 <parv108 > wrote: Dear All, Here is a message from Shree Maa about last year's sankalpa (2007) and this year's sankalpa (2008): " Dear Beloved Children, Thanks for helping to bring peace to yourselves and this universe. Guest guest
Parvati Maa, And again she strips away all the noise and brings us to the simple command to have a good heart and be of service. I am also grateful that it is a very doable sankalpa with a minimum of one mala per day. She knows best. Is there any chance of someone recording Holy Mother saying the mantra and Kumari Maa posting it for us on the web? Guest guest
Thank you very much for this mantra. 2007 did not end well and 2008 seems to be off to a troubled start. So as to not become unduely perplexed and discomforted, I must resolve to firmly take refuge in this mantra. A new threat did come my way at about 10 pm pst on Sunday January 6th, so I have ample insentive. Someone is quite attuned. , " parv108 " <parv108 wrote: > > Dear All, > > Here is a message from Shree Maa about last year's sankalpa (2007) and > this year's sankalpa (2008): > > " Dear Beloved Children, > Thanks for helping to bring peace to yourselves and this universe. Guest guest
Namaste everybody, Maa chants this mantra as part of the " Atha Sapta Sloki " (7 verses) which is part of the Chandi Path. it's on the streaming playlist of the Chandi -- first thing. i also believe it's part of the beginner Durga Puja (same stotram). Also we sing it as part of the 3 verses after arati. Jaaaaaaaaai Maa , Siva Kumar <sufi116 wrote: > > Namaste, > > Thank you for the suggestion. Guest guest
Namste and New Years Greetings to all! I would like to join with you for the " saranaagata diinaarta paritraana paraayane sarvasyaarti hare devi naaraayani namo-stu te " sankalpa this year. Is it appropriate to do that when one is not an initiated disciple of Maa and Swamiji? Is it okay to come in 9 or 10 days late? Can I just do some extra malas for the days I have missed? I so much appreciate the idea of a group sadhana like this for world peace and that Great Beings like Shree Maa and Swamiji are guiding our efforts.... Thank you! Guest guest
Dear All, Thank you for the information about where to find the recording of the mantra. I'm new and I'm still lost! I've ordered a copy of the Chandi and the CD and it's on the way, but I suspect it may be some time until I can find the mantra on the recording. If someone can post or send an audio clip of the mantra from one of the recordings, that would be a big help. Thank you. Guest guest
Namaste, The mantra is part of " Sapta Sloki " which are the 7 verses in praise of Mother...it is in the beginning of Chandi. It should be one of the first tracks on the CD. , " kensington2209 " <plradloff wrote: > > Dear All, > > Thank you for the information about where to find the recording of > the mantra.
