Guest guest
Namaste Hamraz and all: Swami has taught and recorded on video a 6 part class on the " Lalita Trisati " , from the text, " The Guru and the Goddess " published by the Devi Mandir and available thur www.shreemaa.org. Lalita's 1000 names, Her puja, and Her 300 names are in the text book and discussed in the class. The link to the 6 video classes, stored on the Mandir web site is : http://www.shreemaa.org/drupal/node/782 I recommend ordering the text and reading the entire book. Swami also has taught a class on the " Kasyapa Sutra " , another section of the same book. The book also contains the " Srigurugita " . Swami and Maa recommend studying the entire book as it will help a devotee form an intellectual understanding of our entire life, and lead one into the worship of the Divine Mother in the form of Lalita. The classes are tremendously powerful. Swami's video presentation of these sacred texts elevates one into communion with Divine Mother. The first portion of the book, " Kasyapa Sutras " , are the foundation of our practice. They teach us why we are on Earth, and how to maximize our efforts to re-unite with Divine Mother. The second section is the " Srigurugita " , which describes our relationship with our Guru, and teaches us the value of aligning ourselves in every way with the Guru in order to realize the Goal of All Existence. Finally, the 3rd section, " Lalita Trisati Strotram " teaches us Her names and how to worship Her with the traditional methods. Once you review the video classes, I hope you will bring your questions and comments to the club.
