Maa's Grace-we are protected

Namaste all family: A devotee recounted a beautiful story

demonstrating Maa's Grace. Prior to meeting Maa, when feeling unwell,

she felt directed to a doctor who helped her heal. Then, she felt

directed to the Mandir. Once She met Maa, she recognized Maa as the

inner intuition guiding and offering her loving support. She

discovered that the doctor had helped Maa in the past. Thus, She knew

that her life had been silently guided and supported by Maa. In the

months between visits, she felt Maa's love in her daily life. She

felt Maa was always with her, never apart. What a blessing.

This story reminded me that Maa gives each of us that same support and

guidance. As the mantra of our newest sankalpa says: " Those devoted

to you and take refuge in you, even though lowly and humble, you save

them from all discomfort and unhappiness, All worry you take away.... "

 

She gives us these sankalpas to help us grow closer to Her, She

organizes a class to give us knowledge leading to wisdom, She sings

the sweetest songs this side of Heaven to melt our hearts and remove

the dross of past karmas, and She sends some loving angel-husband,

wife, friend, child, to help us in our time of distress.

 

If we enter into every action thinking of Her, thanking Her for the

breath we take, the thoughts we think, and the love in our hearts, how

can we fail? She is our nearest and dearest, and She is always with us.

So, invoke Her Divine name as often as we can, and ask Her to help us

remember Her always, and She will bring us victory.

 

Just remember all the times She has saved and blessed each of us, and

with that thought, bravely go forward.
