I offer this to you all, not as an attempt to change anyone's perceptions,

but as a sharing of my own experience that began with my most fortuitous

meeting and brief time spent with Maa and Swami.

I don't believe I am suggesting anything is unnecessary. Whatever is

appearing is valid. I am suggesting that nothing is more or less valid

than anything else, be it spiritual or material. I will also suggest that

ANYONE who thinks of themselves as an individual acting for the benefit

of said individual or any other individual is bound and suffers, no differently

than any other, be they guru, spiritual aspirant, or common man on the street.

Therefore it is my belief that to pursue questions pertaining to the well

being of a body/ mind only serves to re-enforce the illusion of separation.

I would most respectfully suggest sincere inquiry into the meaning of

such expressions as the simple prayer many of us offer before meals,

found at the end of the Durga and other pujas Swami has so graciously

offered. It is expressions such as these that point to the one true

reality. All is God. No where is there anything but God.

To quote Swami's translation; " The Supreme Divinity makes the offering;

the Supreme Divinity is the offering; offered by the Supreme Divinity, in

the fire of the Supreme Divinity. By seeing the Supreme Divinity in all actions,

one realizes that Supreme Divinity. "

" That is whole and perfect; this is whole and perfect. From the whole and

perfect, the whole and perfect becomes manifest. If the whole and perfect

issue forth from the whole and perfect, even still only the whole and perfect

will remain. " Who needs protecting................?

Take your stand as awareness and trust that all is good ....

leave the results to God. Chanting mantras and the wearing of amour

will continue as they will until they don't. By all means enjoy!

I am not suggesting that anyone " think " they are consciousness and be

done with it. I am merely suggesting that all assumptions be looked at

with the sincere open desire to know who and what you really are.

You will find that all is whole and perfect now and forever, and always was.

With love and gratitude to you all, and Shree Maa for allowing me to trust

my own heart, and inspiring me with such expressions as; " I am nothing " ,

and " Remember Yourself now. "

Dear Ganesh Baba, thank you so much for your thoughtful and

respectful post. I am learning a lot from this entire discussion

about the Kavach. Your description of 'all is God' is one that I

agree with wholeheartedly.

And yet, please be patient with me, there is this repetitious

experience that I have where it all falls apart for me. It is when I

consider the suffering in the world. Darfur...Rwanda...Burma...the

training techniques of child soldiers...the aids crisis in

Africa...the Nazi regime...the mechanics of world poverty...or pick

any other tragedy in the history or present moment of humankind.

When I consider these very real experiences that my brothers and

sisters across the globe are living with, and try to make sense out

of it and reconcile it with 'all is God', I feel lost. Is it that

potentiality and actuality are two different things?

I feel that all crimes against humanity stem from the ego. The ego

is a part of human nature for all of us. This is why I gratefully

chant the kavach. This is what I want protection from. This is what

I surrender to Divine Mother. Is separation an illusion? Yes. Is

that illusion harmful to humanity? Yes. Are people living out of

that illusion? Yes.

Until all of humankind is reconciled with God, living from the

understanding of 'all is God, there is no separation', we will have

need of protection from the ego. That is my understanding.

Please, if you would be so kind, I feel that you have a deeper

understanding of the surrendered state than I do. How do you, Ganesh

Baba, understand the suffering in the world?

Thank you, Jennifer
