Guest guest
Namaste Papia and all: Nice to hear from you. Hope you and your family are well. That is a great question: why chant the Kavach? What am I protecting from? Speaking for myself, if I am going into the world, I wish to have success dealing with people in the world, to keep safe driving in the car, and to keep a " bubble " of purity and safety around me and those I am with. I ask to be one with Maa, and that She will shine Her light and joy and wisdom through me, into the world and all I am with. I imagine that each time I touch a part of my body and chant the mantra adding a piece of Armour, that She who lives in me, is being enlivened, that Her ever shining light, covered by my stresses, is now being brightened, and my experience of Union with Her is enriched and enhanced. It is so cool, and I am so thankful. I hope others will share how they feel performing the Kavach and Chandi. Guest guest
Namaste Vishweshwar, Ramya, Srini and All, Being uninitiated and ignorant of the process of wearing the Kavach, I have just recited the mantras and visualized with limited capacity the images as described in the translation, coinciding with various the directions and body parts. Are there specific mudras, symbolic gestures or physical actions intended to accompany the chanting of Kavach as you seem to allude to in the recent reply? Is it sufficient to chant the mantras and visualize without doing physical gestures if one has not received instruction? Sincerely, Eric --- inspectionconnection108 <inspectionconnection108 wrote: > Namaste Papia and all: Nice to hear from you. Hope > you and your > family are well.
