Guest guest
Namaste: Thanks for these thoughtful questions. I feel the Gods are bound to us because they are a part of us and we are a part of them. They are always a part of us It is we have forgotten our divine nature. We pray to Chandi to wake us up, and destroy the great ego so we can experience our true nature. It is the great ego which prevents us from remaining in union with Chandi. His generals, Too much and Too little call out to us, and we scurry around to satisfy their demands. It takes discipline, and faith in the Guru, to sit down and chant the mantras. As Swami says, we can't control the mind, there is nothing to grab hold of, but, we can control the body. So we sit, and vow not to move until we have completed, and we pray with faith in our Guru, that She will help us sit, and that Chandi will slay our thoughts, and bring us into union with Her.
