Thoughts on verse #45.

Namaste Everyone! It is good for me to carefully evaluate

and contemplate a question, to attempt to look at it from all sides and most of

all to focus on going towards deeper layers of knowing, be it intellectually or

intuitively. It is not always easy to put one’s limited understanding

into words – but in that process one clarifies it, and can also often see

that sometimes one can have only vague imaginings and concepts, and is making

only superficial effort.

I imagine that each and every word in these powerful mantras

can hold a key to understanding their meaning – and perhaps often the

deeper purpose eludes the ordinary mind and has to be experienced and intuited,

or given as grace. Only then is it really our own.

The first word in sutra 45 is “unafraid” –

I suppose that this would mean that one has conquered fear, the biggest thought

of them all and the one behind lots of other powerful thoughts. Then one is

undefeated in ANY encounter with inner and outer enemies. Once our armor of

sound and light is this flawless, we become like the Shining Ones –

Beings of Light undefeated in the three worlds. Then like to a Goddess,or God

– there is a portion of the sacrifice accrued. To me one possible meaning

could be that the great “ law of sacrifice” ( everything giving to

everything else in the universe) is being restored . There is again balance and

harmony. Energy in the three worlds flows as it should !

Love to All

! Jai Maa, Jai Swamiji !

Thank you Srini for making us exchange our thoughts !
