Guest guest
Namaste All, Here are some questions from the kavach you may already know the answers too - or you can look and think about them as you chant this week! Extra points for opening your heart really, really big and filling it with Mother's Love and smiling at Her in all Her forms! 1. What is the name of the Goddess who Nurtures Divinity? 2. Two Mothers are carried by the Bull of Discipline - what are their names? 3. Why are Goddesses angry and agitated in verse 13? 4. Where does the Goddess of Wealth sit? 5. Which beautiful form of Mother protects our heart? 6. What parts of us does She Who Supports the Way of Truth To Wisdom protect? 7.Which verse contains the " errors and omissions " clause in Devi Kavacham? 8.What happens when we remember Divine Mother? Thank you for participating and sharing together our love for God! Jai Maa!
Guest guest
Namaste Ramya, Thanks for your continued inspiration. Here is my attempt at answering the questions. 1. The Goddess Skandamateti nurtures divinity. 2. Isvari and Brahmi are carried by the bull of discipline. 3. The Goddesses only appear angry because of our ego. When I first received the book, Guru and the Goddess, I was afraid to look at the photo of Beloved Shree Maa photo on the book as it always appeared as though She was angry with me. It took me a while to realize why the photo appeared that way and She helped to rid me of the cause. 4. The Goddes of Wealth sits upon the Lotus of Peace. 5. Lalita is the Goddess who protects the heart. 6. She Who Supports the Way of Truth To Wisdom protects the ego, mind and intellect. 7. Verse 42 contains the " errors and omissions " clause. 8. When we remember Divine Mother, protection is sure. Jai Maa Jai Swami
