Guest guest
Dear All, We have joined together on a sweet journey of inspiration to reach Divine Mother. Our goal is to be always in the presence of love and joy and make our lives a pure offering to the Divine. How to do this? The Rishis and Munis tell us that we can do this by systematically chanting and studying the Chandi Path. How do we reach Mother through the Chandi? Imagine an old Temple or Church -- Hidden in the inner sanctum is our Divine Mother -- With brilliant eyes of compassion and smile of Pure Love. She is waiting for us with Her open hands to hold us in Her lap forever -- We long to be in the place of pure love, joy and peace! BUT - The Temple door is locked and two security guards are standing there? Security guards: You can't enter. You are not qualified. We say: We are qualified -- Look we are wearing Mother's Armour (Devi Kavacham). Security Guards: Ok - Enter and go straight in. We walk in a large hall and see another HUGE DOOR. It is Bolted. How to open the Bolt? We chant the ATHARGALA STOTRAM The bolt is open - we push the door - but it does not open. Why? It is LOCKED? How to open the lock? We chant the KILAKAM Now we see the inner sanctum. We know Mother is there -- But we can't see her Why? There is a HUGE CROWD -- of our THOUGHTS!!! Crazy thoughts, good thoughts, angry thoughts, fun thoughts....thoughts,crowding thoughts. The Chandi chanting shows us how to get rid of all these thoughts and attain to Mother's Divine Vision and stay with that all our life!!! So please let us join together in this beautiful journey!! Last two weeks we studied the Kavach. This Week - we will study Athargala Stotram. Next week -- Kilakam. Please share your love and inspiration and help us to walk together - with peace and joy in every step! Jai Maa! yours lovingly ramya
Guest guest
Namaste Ramya, thank you for this wonderful analogy. Such a clear and easy image to remember. I have gotten far behind in reading the posts and just finished catching up tonight. I hope to join in with the next 'conversation.' We are all so blessed to have you and Srini so active on this listserv. Thank you, both, for guiding us through some fascinating discussions. One comment about the difficulty of breaking old habits. Many years ago I got a fortune cookie that read, " Habit becomes nature. " The phrase has stayed with me, and has helped me when I am feeling like I am losing the battle against changing a habit. While it doesn't make it any easier to change my ways, it does keep the light shining at the end of the tunnel. Jai Maa!! lovelove to you, ambi , " n_ramya108 " <n_ramya108 wrote: > > Dear All, > > We have joined together on a sweet journey of inspiration to reach > Divine Mother.
