Guest guest
I tuned into the webcams for Saturday Night chanting. I have dial-up so I cut off the cameras and just listened to the audio. I cried. It was very sweet. By coincidence (?) I just happen to have the full english for the 2nd to the last song that was sung, I could barely hear Shree Maa and Swamiji translating, and it is so beautiful I wanted to share it here. Kali " Awake in the morning Take the name of Kali Kali, Kali Purify your heart Pluck hibiscus, pluck hibiscus And joyfully, the leaves of the Bilwa tree Fill your eyes with love and feeling Sway to the adoration of Mother Bend and swing. Throw off inertia Take the name of Kali For in the end you will find rest At the feet of Mother Bhoba Pagla says Shiva, Shiva Rama Ignorance will disappear if you mark time Playing the cymbals. " Thank You Shree Maa, Swamiji and devotees for the ecstatic audio darshan! L
Guest guest
I, too, listened to kirtan last night, and yes, it was a magical evening of song and bhava. Thank you for the words -- It just so happens I taped that song and now I can sing along! Thank you, thank you...
