Guest guest
Namaste all family: today at lunch at the Mandir after the Chandi, we discussed how devotees deal with unwanted thoughts and emotions. Several devotees said that they immediately introduce any mantra which they are comfortable with, and repeat it slowly inside, and they find relief. One devotee said Maa told her to use this technique anytime she felt uncomfortable. Another devotee reported that they have a rubber band around their wrist and whenever they have an unwanted thought, they pull the rubber band and let it go. The sharp snap and sting against their wrist reminds them to " let go " of the thought / emotion, etc., and move back into balance and harmony. Please share your thoughts and reactions to these methods, and add your own examples of successful techniques. Guest guest
namaste Vish, As a result of the peace sankalpa last year (and again this year), I find that the mantra Mother has given us floats in my head much of the time. Since taking on the sankalpa, I try to have my 'clicker' with me all the time. All I have to do is feel it in my pocket and my mind immediately goes to the mantra. I'm like Pavlov's dog!! (lol) But it works ~~ Jai Maa! Jai Swamiji! ambi , " inspectionconnection108 " <inspectionconnection108 wrote: > > Namaste all family: today at lunch at the Mandir after the Chandi, we discussed how devotees deal with unwanted thoughts and emotions. > Several devotees said that they immediately introduce any mantra which they are comfortable with, and repeat it slowly inside, and they find relief. Guest guest
Namaste dear ones yesterday I was concerned because my son had left and he was being long to return home. I went to my altar to recite Chandi when the telephone rang. I didn't want to interrupt my recitation and I continued. The telephone stopped playing and I thought: And if some happened bad thing with my son? Then I remembered the mantra of the our sankalpa (saranagata dinarta...) I finished the recitation of Chandi, I began the mantra of the sankalpa and my heart was in peace because I have Our Mother, Shree Maa!!!! Jai Maa!!! Jai Swamiji!!! Jai family!!!
