Shiva ratri is coming

Namaste: the all-night worship of Lord Shiva begins this Wednesday

the 5th of March Typically worship begins at sundown and continues

until the following down. Stay tuned for the schedule of the full

sequence of events. Traditionally, a devotee fasts all night and

worships Shiva with song, dance, fire ceremonies, and mantras. The

fast is broken in the morning with a huge feast,

Many devotees come to visit the Mandir to worship with Maa

and Swami.

When I first met Maa in Iowa in 1997 I did not know about Shiva and

Shiva ratri. Maa told me to come to the Mandir to experience a

celebration, unlike any I had ever experienced. And true to Her word,

it was an incredible celebration. It changed my life forever.
