Namaste Vish, Henny, Devi, Deviloka,

Thank you for your thoughtful posts!

Once Swamiji asked me why I meditate. I kind of mumbled that I wanted

to be more calm and do my work better.

He then said meditation, concentration, devotion, love are the same

idea only different levels of intensity. Which is why work can be a

meditation.

One of the things that has helped me is to write down what I do and

why I do it. The question was in that spirit. Thank you for sharing!

Dear Henny,

Thanks for sharing!

Many saints say take God's name like medicine. Even if you are not

interested.

While the bija mantras have a meaning they also evoke a feeling when

they are chanted. So even if do not understand the meaning if we focus

on the feeling that will take us inside and the meaning will be

revealed. Just my two cents.

In general, I have noted that people tend to chant the Siddha Kunjika

Stotram with a high tone and a lot of gusto.

Dear Srini,

thank you for your two cents, which are of great worth to me. Yes, I

have also found that even if I start chanting the Siddha Kunjika

Stotram feeling insecure and uninspired, when I get halfway things

have changed and I always finish with great gusto:) So that in itself

answers a lot of my questions,

thank you very much,

with love,

Henny
