Namaste Vish and Leela,

From Swamiji's class on the Navarna Viddhi, here are the definitions

of Aim, Hrim, and Klim:

Aim. Seed of wisdom. Creation of perfection in the causal body is the

wisdom. Maha Saraswati.

Hrim. Everything that is perceived by the senses, conceived in the

mind, and known through intuition and beyond. Maha Lakshmi.

Klim. Cause of perfect union between the gross body dissolving into

the causal body. Maha Kali

Navarna Mantra embodies all three forms of Divine Mother.

You can listen to the entire class at

Dear Devi Mandir Family ~ a few digests ago someone said that Maa wanted us

to recite the Navarna Mantra (hope I got that right) for Navaratri. A

certain number, that I don't recall, was given. Does Maa want us to reach that

number as a group, and should we be sending in our numbers of times chanted?

Also, where can I get one of those clicker thingies that helps keep track

of numbers when chanting? I've heard it mentioned a number of times, so I

hope someone can help me.

Jai Maa!!! Jai Swamiji!!!

You can try sports or fitness shops or possibly Wal Mart for the clickers. That is where I got mine. All I heard about number of repetitions is that we should do the mantra to the best of our ability. Someone correct me if i am wrong.

The Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna

That man is a true man whose mind dwells in God. He alone is a man whose spiritual consciousness has been awakened and who is firmly convinced that God alone is real and all else is illusory.

Brothers and Sisters,

Namaste.

I wish to conduct ritual worship during the Durga Puja Festival. Can any one point out appropriate resources or help me secure material concerning Worship of Maa Durga and the associated deities during this period.

I have not been following the group emails for a few monthsnow and may have missed any important discussion on the subject.

Namaste Hari,

Shree Maa has said that if you have faith and love in Mother, you are already

initiated. But if we have any superstition, we can chant " Om Hrim Shrim Dum

Durgayai Namaha "

You can make a sankalpa - a determination and promise to God -- to do a certain

number of mantras every day or a certain total for the whole of Navaratri. And

everyday just pray to Mother and chant. Please write back if you have any

questions!

Thanks! Jai Maa!
