Guest guest
Namaste Eric: Swami has discussed the need to unit and balance Shiva and Shaki internally as well as externally. Many of the points you noted were included in those discussions regarding our internal balance of these 2 states. In the relationship between husband and wife, Maa and Swami speak about the need for respect and selfless service towards one's mate as key principles to achieve the same goal of harmony and balance between Shiva and Shakti. As Maa and Swami have told us,{and I paraphrase}, .... " one should think of one's relationship as a sadhana, {spiritual practice}. Regular performance of right action leads to success, while lack of regular practice, leads to entropy. Where would you be without your Shiva/Shakti? For a husband to be au-Shakti, is surely a state to be avoided at all costs. " Maa and Swami have given us a technique to help partners experience Shiva and Shaki in each other. Every Monday, they suggest we perform puja to our mate, The male performs Durga puja to his wife, and she performs Shiva puja to him. Imagine how the world would change if we could all perform this sadhana?
